ORIGINA / Evidence & Quality
Evidence has
levels.
ORIGINA is ambitious scientifically and conservative in claims. The strength of a claim must correspond to the strength of the evidence.
01 · Evidence ladder
The evidence hierarchy.
Marketing language must not jump between evidence levels. A study conducted by ORIGINA does not automatically mean clinically proven.
- 1Scientific hypothesis
- 2In-vitro evidence
- 3Ex-vivo evidence
- 4Formulation testing
- 5Instrumental / biophysical testing
- 6Pilot human evaluation
- 7Controlled clinical study
- 8Randomized controlled clinical trial
- 9Systematic evidence
A scientific hypothesis is not a clinical result.
A promising formulation is not automatically a proven treatment.
A laboratory mechanism is not automatically evidence of human clinical efficacy.
02 · Clinical research
Product marketing and clinical research are separate.
Where clinical research is discussed, it is structured around disciplined methodology — not marketing language.

Appropriate reporting
ORIGINA does not create fabricated clinical trial results, imply regulatory authorization where none exists, or present ongoing studies as completed.
03 · Research records
Research records
Future research records will support metadata including research title, platform, evidence level, population, methodology, and publication status. Empty states are preferable to fabricated data.
